AUGUST 29TH
Hi to all!
I know the weather at 95 doesn't seem like it is time to talk about "The Wish" but it will be here before you know it.
I checked my notes and it was the 1st thursday in September that the band met last year!!!!
Now I don't think we will have to start that early as a group this year-----here's my thoughts
pull out the old axe--keyboard--drumset---vocal pipes---and work on your individual parts in September. I may try to get the guitar players together once or twice to iron out a couple of bumps and make sure we know who's parts are who's and to go over the one or 2 new songs we will be doing for this years show. Carl Meyers has moved to the Quad Cities so we will have to try and accomodate practices with the full band to meet his schedule as well as you'alls.
The 1st of October we will go full speed ahead as follows
band practice---every thursday night 8pm--one hour
men's choir---every wednesday night 8pm--one hour
children's choir--every tuesday night 7pm--one hour

This will give us 7 practices separately and 2 practices as a whole group prior to the dress rehersal. I will leave it up to the individual leaders as 2 whether there should be less or more practices!
I had such great time working with all of you last year and am looking forward to an even better time this Christmas!!!
I am going to start posting all "Wish" information to the www.carthage-il.com forums page as I get it and the practices/rehersals/performances will be posted to the community calendar at this same site also. You can always reference these places for the most up to date information.
Please email me back and let me know that you are in for
"A Christmas Wish" 2007!!!!!!!
Merry Christmas!
