Stories read by Carthage Library staff member followed by play at the W.O.W. Park for children age 0-3 accompanied by a caregiver.

Stories @ the WOW Park

Start your week off with a story at the W.O.W. Park.  A Carthage library staff member will be at the park Monday mornings from 10:00-10:15 am to read 2-3 books to the children. 

(Event will be cancelled if there is rain) 

Children must be accompanied by a responsible party.  Library staff member will not be responsible for supervision  of  children who remain at the park  after this time.

IMPACT @ Carthage Library

IMPACT is a weekly event held on Monday from 4:00 pm - 5:30 pm for Middle and High School students.

Students have the opportunity to choose activites, such as cooking, science experiments, and various STEAM activities. ( science, technology, Art, and  Math) IMPACT group members may come anytime throughout the event and do not have to attend regularly or sign up to join. A sign in sheet is available during each session.

Students participating in Impact may also assist Library Staff in planning and decorating for events.

IMPACT will break during Christmas Eve and New Years Eve rusuming Janurary 7th.
