Basic Car Maintenance Workshop

Carthage Public Library’s series of free “Basics” workshops continues with Basic Car Maintenance on Thursday, October 18, at 6:00 pm.  If the weather permits, this program will be held outside in the back parking area of the library, so attendees are asked to bring a lawn chair and dress for the weather.

The folks from J&R Tire will demonstrate how to change a tire and jump a battery.  They will describe basic auto maintenance tasks and how often they should be performed.  The workshop is intended for adults and students in Middle School or High School.

The next program in the series will be Basic Electrical Safety and Repairs on Thursday, November 8, presented by Carl Fisher from Ameren.

Suggestions for future topics and presenters are welcome.  For more information, contact the Library, 217-357-3232, or email cartlib@mtcnow.net.
