The Martian: Book/Movie Discussion @Library

Prior to the discussion of The Martian by Andy Weir, we will be viewing an informational video along with an author interview. You do not have to read the book or have seen the movie to participate in the discussion. If you wish to read the book prior to the discussion, copies are available at the library. We will be serving potato soup and refreshments.

IMPACT @ Carthage Library

IMPACT is a weekly event held on Monday from 4:00 pm - 5:30 pm for Middle and High School students.

Students have the opportunity to choose activites, such as cooking, science experiments, and various STEAM activities. ( science, technology, Art, and  Math) IMPACT group members may come anytime throughout the event and do not have to attend regularly or sign up to join. A sign in sheet is available during each session.

Students participating in Impact may also assist Library Staff in planning and decorating for events.

IMPACT will break during Christmas Eve and New Years Eve rusuming Janurary 7th.
