39th Annual Strawberry Strut

MARK YOUR CALENDARS for the 39th Annual Strawberry Strut on Saturday, June 3! Race begins at the historic Carthage square and goes around the beautiful Carthage Lake! Walkers and runners are welcome!

Entry fees are $25.00 for the 5-mile run and $7.00 for the mile run. No refunds. Run day registrants will be charged $30.00 for the 5-mile and $10.00 for the mile. REGISTRATION STARTS AT 7:00 a.m. REGISTRATION CLOSES AT 8:00 a.m. PACKETS MUST BE PICKED UP BY 8:00 a.m.Registration in the Hancock County Courthouse (enter west doors). OR GET YOUR REGISTRATION FORM HERE!

Awards: All finishers in the 5-mile run or walk will receive a T-shirt until the shirts are gone. Trophies, plaques and medals will be awarded in the 5-mile run/walk. Plaques and medals also awarded in the 1-mile run.

Book Sale

The Friends of the Carthage Public Library is holdig a used book sale on Saturday, June 3 from 7:30 am - 4:30 pm. The sale will be outside, in front of the Library if the weather permits.

Hancock County Fights Cancer Block Party

Join us for an evening of fun, celebration, rememberance and honoring all those who have had or have cancer. We come together and celebrate the teams, the people and the funds raised throughout the year to support those in Hancock County with cancer, funds also go to help find a CURE.

We will be on the Hancock County historical square on June 3rd from 4:30pm to 10pm. We invite you to join us and enjoy the entertainment and the honoring of those we gather to honor. For more information go tohttp://www.hancockcountyfightscancer.org/

Hancock County Fights Cancer is a501c(3)nonprofitorganization looking to unite the entire county in the fight against cancer by raising funds for HUGS (Helping Us Give Support) a local support group that provides financial help to families in Hancock County that are going through cancer. We also supportcancer research. We encourage teams from all over Hancock County to join the FIGHT and help raise funds.Together we can make a difference.
