Storytime at Carthage Library

Free Event! Rhythm and Music storytime is back!  Join us on Tuesdays at 10:00 am beginning on Jan. 10.  This is for kids ages 1-5 with a caregiver.  We begin with stories, songs, and rhythm instruments. This is not a sit still and be quiet storytime!

At 10:30 am we begin the “plus” portion features different activities each week including active games, fine motor and sensory activities, painting, using Hey Clay and more! 

We have a great active group but are always looking for more families to join!

3:30 pm

STEAM Storytime

  Stories, snacks, and STEAM activities for children 3 years—3rd grade. 

      (Pre-schoolers must be accompanied by an adult)

This semester we will be focusing on STEAM (Science Technology Engineering, arts and mathematics) elements found in nursery rhymes and stories!


6:00 pm

Game Night at the library

From 6-8 pm on January 31st stop by the library and play some games. This is a free event and open to people of all ages. Stop by and play a game with family or other community members. We will have lots of games available but you are welcome to bring a favorite of yours to play as well. you do not need to attend for the whole time come as you can!
