Transportation
Carthage is easily accessible by local highways. In 2006 a four-lane highway was completed that connects Carthage with points south and east and makes travel to and from our area even easier and faster. This four-lane highway extends from Quincy to Macomb. An easy thirty-minute drive will take you to local airports providing daily commercial air service or municipal airports to house private planes. River barge traffic on the Mississippi can be accessed in nearby ports.
